Brazil v Holland

The next one is in Brazil. That is nailed on to be intense.

I get you on the Africa call. Everyday I read another story about how the tournament has won over a load of peeps who said it would be [Poor language removed]. Codebreaker* it's a [Poor language removed] tournament and if we tell you enough times that it is not you might believe us, despite the [Poor language removed] on the screen and the wail in the speakers.

nb. The vuvuzela's are gay. No footballing nation would stand for that [Poor language removed].

Well in DT, chuffed for you mate.

Though that was an awfull game oof football two of the best footballing nations in the world and cynical fouling won the day - bith teams were guilty of it. Fair play to Robben he was a big factor brave in wanting the ball, Brazil could do nothing but foul him and eventually had to take Bastios of before he was sent of and Melo eventually got sent of. How Van Bommel wasnt sent of never mind booked is beyond me. The big difference was Dutchland held their temprement, showed great desire - great to see a Dutch team finaly together.

As for Brazil they lost it compleatly - they didnt have the temprement to get byond cynical fouling - in someway they equated that with desire - the difference being the Dutch did it better. But the ref was poor and it ruined the game as a footballing spectacle.

Chuffed for our Dutch friends hope they go all the way.

On an Everton related note Jonny H didnt have a good game.

Agree with you apart from that bit in bold. First half was so-so. Second half was a good spectacle. Not great, flowing football, but enthralling nevertheless. Watch the highlights programme later and I guarantee you it'll come across as a cracker...it wasn't but it wasn't half bad either.

Die Deutscher Fussball Machine v The Argies will be spectacular though.

I reckon Blatter has done this to prove he's not racist and its the world game and all that.

In short - Africa: Boss for safaris, [Poor language removed] for international togger tournaments.

This. This one's been ruined with its weird fussballs, vuvuzellas and no prisoner taking police force who've stopped decent hard working hooligans the chance to entertain us.

The tournament feels hollow because the host country was so fecking gash also.

You need that home nation coming up on the rails to really feel part of the action. Otherwise it's very, 'keep the noise down please, you will wake my nan'.

Hoping the Germans smash them. Can't say it too loudly or my wife will kill me though
Come on Basti. Show them who's the man

Think it's been a belting world cup. Very memorable on and off the field.

And what Dutch toffee up to? Probably smashed off his tits smoking a vuvuzala and suppin grolsh by the litre

I'd be happy with any of the teams left in the competition winning it now - apart from Spain. Brazil and Spain I didn't want to see win it. One down, one to go. The Spaniards aren't all that, though. Either Argentina or Germany will take them down. Ideally I'd like to see an Argentina v Holland final. I'd be happy seeing either win: Argentina for Maradona and Messi's sake; Holland because they are a great footballing nation that should have been winners before now to cement their status.
