Yup. Worst thing is I have an Aunt and Uncle who have loved and supported me from day one, but they are devoutly religious.

Honestly, whilst I do freely joke about it on here and users are free to take the pee when they want, I hate who I am and I have tried to change who I am, because I know that I am letting them down, but I just can't.

Are you devoutly religious? Because you can't try to live your life to please people who hold themselves to a doctrine that you don't believe in yourself.

And even if you were to lock things down that rarely ends well, you'd either end up living a lie and feeling miserable or having to do what you just did except years down the line.

There's not much to say really, i don't know your family. But I've seen quite a few religious families keep their faith while still respecting and loving the person who has come out even if they don't understand.

You might feel like crap now but that's been weighing on you for as long as you can remember i imagine. It's done now. All you've done is say, this is who i am and please accept me. It will take time but stick in there.

I'm not religious but everyone should be able to decide for themselves.

I do have several problems with organised religion, one there is that if there is a God why would he create you to feel bad about yourself.
