….I’ve just become a Grandad again. Yeh.

My daughter and her husband have had their first child & its a little boy, my first grandson. His Dad is a Welsh rugby fan but his first Everton kit already bought by my son.

Many congratulations. My first, and only, grandson is an Everton season ticket holder. Travels from Nottingham. Makes me proud when I hear him tell people that he supports Everton because his grandad does.
I suppose I am wasting my time giving advice - spoil him rotten! I guess you've already started.

…lovely story having that special connection & he sounds a proper supporter doing that journey. Yep, Everton kits already secured, his Dads Welsh and a big Rugby fan but its accepted that the Toffees are his first allegiance, he’ll be kicking a ball with me as soon as he can.

I just got out of the shower and was brushing my teeth, when i saw a daddy-long-legs in the corner of the ceiling above me...I grabbed it, opened a window , and threw it outside. Now, it's absolutely pissing down outside, and a thought passed through my mind: that poor daddy-long-legs, just relaxing in a warm dry corner inside a warm dry house, must have just experienced a huge WTF!! moment
