Two bad loans have really hurt Galloway. I believe he should stay at the club at play at U-23's till atleast January then maybe get him another loan. As we saw last year you can never have enough left footed defenders.
 
The move to West Brom and the fact he didn’t play all season seriously damaged this player. He looked half decent at left back for us and I’d eventually hoped he would push for a cb spot. Never gonna happen now. Even browning is ahead of him
 

Would have been better than cuco last year when baines went down and was wasted at west brom.

Plays both lb and cb, just what we need. I would love to see him turn it around he has both pace and size.
 

We know there’s a player in there, we’ve seen it.

Let’s at least give Silva a chance to see what he can do with him.

If he doesn’t fancy him, I’ve not seen anything to suggest the player won’t take a move. He’s waaaay down the list of our problems. The dross on big money are the ones we need to worry about. Mirallas, Williams, Klaasen, Sandro & maybe Bolasie.
 
I think Galloway is a prime example of why you need a bit of luck in football. He went to West Brom and couldn't force his way in (had he have done it would have benefitted him) and then to Sunderland who are a crisis club.

I was never his biggest fan, but even as a raw 19 year old he was miles better than Cuco Martina, on account of being able to kick the ball with his left foot. You think of the games we wasted on Martina and how that exposure could have been given to Galloway/Kenny and you can see why we are in a mess. He was very promising when he first came in.

Maybe Silva will see something in him. I've never been his biggest fan but he does have some attributes. He will have matured physically over the last couple of years and maybe he can come from left field to put some pressure on?

Likely he will be moved on but we have made a bit of a mess of him really.
 
Martina was a much better option than this guy. Was dreadful at Sunderland. Worst side in the Championship and they didn’t want him near their squad. Says it all.
