Played excellent today. With someone to help him out he is a very good player. He was exposed against Man City and suffered but that applies to any left back in the world. Great future and another tick for RM for giving the youngsters game time

Amazing how his attacking confidence has changed in just he past month. He offered nothing going forward to begin with this season (and absolutely fair play to him, there's no real reason why he should have done!) but he was charging forward like he'd been doing it for years today. Great stuff.
Perversely, I don't him being left exposed and suffering a bit against City would have done his development any harm whatsoever. All about the learning from difficult matches/opponents and from your mistakes. I think it's entirely understandable and acceptable for young, raw talent to have a shocker and if they're good enough mentally they;ll reap the benefit in the long-term. I think we're all pleasantly surprised by Galloway and, alongside Stones, Barkley, Lukaku and others we've got a decent nucleus of young players for the years ahead.

as soon as Baines is fully fit he'll be back in the side, we've seen that even after impressive performances from Oviedo and Garbutt
but i agree in sentiment, he's looked assured. getting the assist for naismith should also do wonders for his confidence going forward.
like Lescott, he definitely has the physicality and technical ability on the ball to be a threat going forward, he just needs to get used to the mentality of actually attacking and being comfortable when higher up the pitch

You said it looks classy, I hope that we can keep Stones and a back 4 of Stones, Browning, Galloway and Coleman would be a great platform for an assault on the top 2 with Garbutt, Holgate, Kenny backing up
