Another accomplished performance from young Brendan. Pity about the yellow card, but his cleaning out of Pedro wasn't as bad as it looked... would have been better had the victim been Costa !!

It was impressive that at times they trusted him to man mark Costa at corners , one of the most physical forwards in the PL. You don't do that to a still raw 19 year old defender unless you have great confidence in his ability to stick with the plan and not be intimidated . Great stuff.

Seen lots of defenders lose their rag when faced with Costa's antics, very impressive one so young kept his cool.

Best performance for the senior team, although when everyone else in the side is playing well it makes his job easier. Still not a natural LB, as you can tell going forward but he is not a bad back up option.

I don't want to put the cart before the horse as it's only half time, but these two sequences of play I feel showed an immense ability to read the game. We'll start the bidding at 50 million

Again, don't want to overhype him too much as it's only halftime and you expect mistakes from young players, but these are very encouraging signs of his overall quality

Love this kid more and more with every game he plays, looks like another one to add to the crop of young players that if they fulfil their potential will lead to us being a very successful team.
