I love this kid, but can't make up my mind if some of the positions he wanders into are bizarre or genius. The number of times he appears in the box is amazing. He's even the only one in the picture with Rom celebrating his goal ... out on the right. How'd he get there? You can almost hear Jags saying " off you go for a run Bren, I'm too old to run that far but I'll cover you. Just make sure you come right back at the end ." He doesn't play attacking LB as traditionally as Baines/Garbutt or Shaw, who bomb down the wing and cross the ball. Yet he just may be so talented that he end up bring a classy LB .

Reminds me of Michael Ball but he has the height to play centre half unlike Ball.

Always useful to have centre halves who are adept at full back I the squad. Remember kids were wanting Baines sold as Lescott wouldn't allow him a sniff at left back.
