Loaning players to other PL sides is a good thing.

Much rather see us loaning out Galloway than us taking The Stracq on loan.

Pulis will grock him up a bit...which really isn't a bad thing IMO.

Everton loanee made his Baggies bow against Northampton at Sixfields



Brendan Galloway was handed his West Bromwich Albion debut with a place in the starting XI against Northampton Town in the EFL Cup tonight.

It presented Baggies fans and Tony Pulis with their first chance to feast their eyes on the 20-year-old defender.


The man who came in from Everton yesterday looks likely to be Albion's first choice left-back this season and impressed against the Cobblers.

Galloway has plenty of pace and loves to get forward, something which the club hasn't possessed at left-back in a number of years.

As you would expect of a player plying his trade with Everton, known for their fluent, attacking football, he is very confident on the ball and has a fantastic range of passing.

But nobody plays at full-back in a Pulis team unless they can do the defensive basics well, which Galloway appears to do.

He will face bigger tests than that of a League One team, but he stood up to his first examination very well at Sixfields.

One criticism that could be levelled at the 20-year-old is his end product.


After breaking down the left, he should have pulled the ball back for Berahino.

He tried, but couldn't find his target.

Galloway was replaced by 16-year-old Kane Wilson, making his competitive Albion debut, on 70 minutes.

On the whole is was a thoroughly professional display by Galloway, one that will certainly pose his manager a question ahead of Middlesbrough on Saturday.

I am glad Koeman said Galloway's future was at Everton. He will hopefully replace Mori when the time is right or Baines. He has always impressed.

Wow , West brom are so grocky they probably think Galloway is a actual left back
