Ridiculous move. Galloway is the best cover at LB we have (and a better defender than the feller in that position right now).

So what does this mean, he's going to rely on a usually crocked Oviedo or he's bringing a LB in?

Sorry, that stunt puzzles me.

If that's the case mate why did Martinez not use him after about a dozen games?

He made 16 starts and was left out after the Stoke defeat. Oviedo came in and did ok and kept his place for a few weeks and then Baines, the senior player, was back in contention. Galloway then suffered an injury and didn't appear.

He was well ahead of schedule with all that, and he was handed a new 5 year deal.

Short answer: nothing to see here.

This must mean Koeman doesn't see a future for him at left back -- you don't develop as a fullback playing for Tony Pulis. Plenty of opportunities as one of the four central defenders, though.

Galloway will be schooled by the master in trench defending but will he know that he can make offensive ventures other than set pieces after the pulis experience

Short answer would be Martinez dropped him and deemed both Oviedo and Baines better mate, but that would fly in the face of you skating both players whilst praising st Bobby.

Keep advocating Baines being ofliaded whilst the manager rates him though, and let's see where McCarthy ends up playing eh, bet it's not for us ;)

A year's tutelage under Pulis, as others have said, is a great opportunity to learn from a manager with one of the best defensive records in the league. Shows that we have a manager that values discipline and physicality in the back line. Good luck to Galloway, come back a beast!

Good loan for him, just hope he gets a substantial amount of game. Pulis, as people have said, is one of if not they best coach in the country when it comes to teaching rugged, physical defending which Galloway will need to learn if he's ever to become a starter for us.

If Pulis gives him a chance then he will be first choice for them on merit then come back next summer as our first choice.
