Named in the England under 21 squad, might be a good sign as if it was serious they would have informed them not to bother picking him.

cant be that serious, he said he was honoured to be in u21 squad so assume he'll be joining up with them
Unfortunately not accordning to the Echo -

Brendan Galloway has been forced to withdraw from the England under-21 squad. The 19-year-old Everton defender missed the Blues’ Premier League game with Spurs on Saturday with a knee injury. Galloway picked up the problem against Manchester City earlier in the month but had remained hopeful of being fit to England’s games with USA and Norway.

But England have this morning announced that Galloway has pulled out of the squad. At the time, Everton boss Roberto Martinez said: “He picked up a patella tendon problem that we’ll assess in the next 24 to 48 hours. It’s probably more to do with his age and the fact he’s still growing rather than a structural injury.”

Galloway will continue his rehab at Finch Farm and hopes to be fit to face Chelsea on September 12.

I don't want to put the cart before the horse as it's only half time, but these two sequences of play I feel showed an immense ability to read the game. We'll start the bidding at 50 million

First, pass gets by him but he recovers well, steals the ball, gets his head up and looks for an open man before making the safe pass off to Barry:

Here he has two players wide, he doesn't over commit to that side, and as soon as the passer takes himself out of it, he turns on the jets to close Ivanovic down:

Again, don't want to overhype him too much as it's only halftime and you expect mistakes from young players, but these are very encouraging signs of his overall quality

Definitely his best game so far.

I think the City game, whilst being a bad experience for him, has probably taught him a [Poor language removed] load.

MOTM today for me, did everything needed of him and loved the wipe out moment on pedro, commitment and willing to take one for the team on a dangerous counter.

Looks like he learnt a hell of a lot from that difficult 1st half v man city the other week.

Massive fan. What a step up. He was meant to go on loan this season but forced his way into the first team, and is putting in performances like that out of position against Chelsea.
