2points out of 12played for?.Nearly 3 against a side who couldnt hit a barn door.
Full of optimism going to Leeds without AG.
I so much want to be optomistic about our chances going into every game. But the reality is this.
Lose the next three , then there will be huge pressure on Frank to win a couple anyway he can.
I give up will just carry on suffering as most of us have since the mid, late 80's.

So much hope we get a point or three at Leeds.

Why wouldn’t we go to Leeds in 3 days time with Gordon? He isn’t getting sold unless Chelsea make a hugely stupid offer and even that might not be till Wednesday night/Thursday

Never ceases to amaze me that judging by some of the comments, you'd think we're the only club on earth that buys players on structured deals to maximize our available budget yet we magically receive the full fee upfront from every club buying any of our players to allow us to do this.

From Madrid to Macclesfield, structured transfers in and out have been the norm for a long, long time I'm sure.
Yes all clubs structure deals. But we got 50m up front for Richie. And have bought in, what 6 players with an immediate outlay of like maybe 18m.

Burnley rejected structured deals for cornet for example.

Our deals are structured in what appears to be a much more heavily way than others.

Just woke up to see the final score. It's a pity our brave lion hearts could not hang on for the win but still, we did get 1 point more than what I was expecting pre kick-off. And if we can finish the season at the table position we presently occupy, I shall be made up.

I'll consider it an 'official assist' ;)

With a bit of luck, some of our epic new signings might even overtake me come May. (Not all of them of course. Let's not go mad).
At ease Colonel. The games over. Snide comments on an internet forum won't influence the result.

We got a draw away from home against a team who won their last home game 4-0. We've still got players bedding into the system and are clearly still looking to strengthen.

No need to wet those sheets. You can take the dry cleaners off speed dial for a few weeks.

Still out on new signings ATM but I can accept where we are and know it will not be easy to get away from it. You don't you are just on a downer. Support the team a bit more and take your negativities away. See where we are and it becomes more realistic hence acceptable
When at the game I cheer louder than most. Being honest is not being negative btw. We should not resign ourselves to the view that we are just ordinary now and 6th from bottom in May will be progress . That is not acceptable.

In what way am I "wetting the sheets", or is that just the go-to, phrase-of-the-moment people throw around on his forum? We're 4 games in, far from panic stations, and I expect nothing other than a very boring, very labourious, unspectacular plodding along in bottom 6/7 for the entire season to a probable 15th-ish place finish by a very average team. A lucky point away from home is better than nothing, but it's hardly thrilling, awe-inspiring stuff. My sheets -and the drycleaner- are safe for a longtime to come, methinks.
