It’s been an ok half and we’re in front, it’s been a bit unsteady after the goal but that’s to be expected. What baffles me the most is how the majority of our players, who are professional footballers, can’t shoot properly.

Made a terrific start. A few hairy moments here and there but ended the half back on the front foot.

Can really see what Frank Lampard is trying to implement on the training pitch.

First the positives. We’re one up and have shown a bit of adventure on the ball. Negatives. The defending is utterly abysmal. Against a more clinical team we’d have shipped 3 or 4. Patterson is a woeful defender. No way we end with a clean sheet.

Defenders need to communicate better otherwise we’ve been the better side.
