I've slagged myko many of times but bloody ell looks a different player today taking players on showing a bit of forward playing give credit what it's due, well in fella
Me too. May be its confidence and belief in himself, is back but it was good to see.

The back line played very well, but Young got caught out a few times and gets exposed out of position.

Hopefully v Villa, Young will realise he is not playing for Everton.

Think its a combination of Goodison toxicity and that we are better suited to the counter attack.

We are at our most vulnerable on the transition, so when we have more possession at home and there's a turnover, we get bummed. Away from home we can stay in shape and then be more incisive on the break
Good point, I agree, you can literally smell and feel the tension around Goodison on match days, the last few years.

It's not good for anyone. But let's hope he says with optimism, any take over , that may happen is a robust take over in tems of ownership and finances.

Great performance yesterday. We have a good few games a season where we dominate the first half, score and then miss a gilt edged chance to go 2 up and next minute they’ve scored out of nothing. We usually come out flat in the second, never get going and lose. Nice change

Branthwaite and Tarkowski both excellent.
👏👏👏👍💙🤍⚽⚽⚽️ and we could have had 3 o 4 more goals. It would be goodvto see that level of play st Goodison.

Great win. Surprised at how poor the Bees were, but maybe that's also a reflection on us. Such an odd feeling to be watching the last 10 mins with a 2 goal cushion. Same again please blues

Taking players on?

He did it once … one cross in 90 minutes and he had plenty of times where the ball was on his left foot and with people in the box into aim at ..
Come on tho I'm not his biggest fan but he did have a good game for a change imo

Should have had 3 in the first half, glad to see they kept it together. Good performances all around.
Hopefully, this is a start and do etching to build pn.
The players showed belief and confidence, in themselves. Great potential to.build on for a some very toughgames coming up.

What was up with those MOTD highlights? Apart from us being on first like.

They showed a clip of Danjuma in the 2nd half as part of the 1st half highlights.
Agree, Lineker must have put a word in.
But it's always a quick sketch and doesn't show all the joy moments.

Shearer is absent more this season, but the media ex pro so called expert, Chris Sutton, is the Alpha Hotel pundit of them all, in my book.
He hasn't got a good thing to say about Everton.

Fekkn them and his ilk keep playing like yesterday Everton can have a good season, consistency and good football.

That’s the first 90 mins I’ve seen this season, being a PL Barstooler living in Ireland.

Branthwaite was superb. Garner excellent as was Doucoure. On the basis of that performance, having Beto and DCL, surely we can get towards lower mid table. Next two are big to see us into the break in good stead
The first time I haven't watched 90 minutes this season. A couple of friends from Madrid were down for the first time since the pandemic. They phoned just after Brentford equalised so I decided to go and see them.
The only match I didn't watch last season was Brighton away.

I see a pattern emerging
