BRUCE RIOCH

Does anybody have any questions that they would like me to put to Bruce?
In 1977 we reached the League Cup Final and were of course unlucky not to reach the FA Cup Final in the same year. Was Bruce surprised that we didn't build on this and achieve some silverware with Lee as manager.

How different was Gordon Lee's style of management to Billy Bingham.

From the clubs Bruce played for what Everton player or players would make the best eleven he has played with in his career.

I remember going to Cardiff in a FA Cup game in I think 77. It kicked off outside their Main Stand after the game. Rioch was in a window of the stand, maybe the players lounge shaking his fist as if saying " Get into them." Different times

I'm not sure how to word this mate and I've never seen him play so it may not be something he could answer.

But along the lines of what's it like to play in front of the Goodison crowd when playing for Everton compared to other clubs he may have played for, is it more pressure, more enjoyable or does it make you scared to make a mistake.

I've just always wondered as through the years I've seen players idolised and then others who barely get any recognition and I just wonder if the player thinks "wtf don't they take to me".

Stupid question I know mate but the mental side of the game has always intrigued me.

I think it was a few years earlier (1975?). Home and away fans in those days were still not always segregated and that was the case for this match.

Yeah I think you are right. Plymouth away was the same year. One of my favourite all time aways
