Still irked at the four points dropped at Leicester and v arsenal, had we put those games away we'd be in the drivers seat for top 4.

The best thing about Eto'o turning out to be boss is that I said to more than one Liverpool fan in all seriousness that they should avoid Balotelli and sign Eto'o on a free for 2 years, by which time a better striker would be available instead of Balo. They turned their noses up at such a suggestion, and how the mighty have fallen.

Evertons wingless wonders? - we looked uncomfortable in the first half - 2nd half much better but Naisy and Ossie do not look comfortable out wide we may get thumped v better teams?
Eto is pure class we looked better when Barkley came on, they tired too - a win is a win but 3-1 looked easier than it was.

Came out and dictated play in the second half, sans the mistakes this time. First game where Eto'o really made me in awe of his Eto'o-ness. Kind of odd seeing 75 minutes or so without an actual winger. Got the job done at Burnley, hopefully the lads can build confidence and form from this.

LOL I think Eto'o has 4 goals. I think Balotelli has at least 4 whiffs.

....he's clearly a critical part of the set up for RM. He was very good today. It's not only that he breaks things up, his ability to pick out those little passes in tight areas is really classy. Makes the really difficult look really easy.
