Is it me or was that a typical Pickford goal we conceded?,yeah poor from Allan but I still believe a bigger fella in goal has a chance of saving it, great block to keep us in it a 1-0 but my heart is racing every time we concede a corner or free kick, every team is onto us,still baffled by the decision not to even have Nkounkou on the bench knowing Delphs injury record, need to tough it through to January and hopefully defensive additions,Godfrey had a good game,Iwobi at least ran at them although his final ball often was lacking,Richarlison worked, Dominic scored and Rodriguez illuminated briefly, not all bad,but however brightly we shine attacking wise if we cannot defend properly we are going nowhere.
It will be Carlo’s downfall if he continues to think trex arms is the answer
I agree. I would have thought the easiest thing to work on as well.
How to pass a football is the first thing you learn in school P.E. at 8 years old lol

For the most part and I never thought I'd say this but I swear some of the Burnley players were diving, or at least flopping to the ground over any contact. Even Keown said it in commentary one of them dived.
It was horrendous. Somehow he let the one go that led straight to a goal but there were a bunch that he called.

One good thing about this match it showed us once and for all 3 at the back doesn't work for us. 433 and stick to it
At the end of the day, systems can only paper over a few cracks. Unless you have good, determined, quality players to use in those systems, you will get found out eventually. We are in the process of getting found out.

I agree, 4 3 3 is better, but it wont improve us by much.
We need better players ultimately.

Enough of this continual disappointment and frustration in my life. Its not as if there are any positives or if any script might see us achieve anything not that football is all about selling to sky sofas.

I'm off to watch a local Derby at grass roots. Purton are gonna get hammered.
Ffs! Football is damned to to deliver constant irritation to me. The ruddy local match was called off but they didn't bother telling anyone. Waterlogged pitch apparently. Christ on a stick the pitch was massively better than pitches I played on as a yoof. Ruddy snowflakes! lol

The worst thing about this current set up(you can probably say it is a mentality thing going back many, many moons!!!)is the capitulation tendancy we have every time a carrot is dangled in front of us,we for all our faults could have gone fourth(however briefly)today, the sooner the serial losers in our squad are binned off and replaced by nasty(winners)the better.

That should be applied at every level of every department within the club !!

Apparently Pickford has conceded more goals from outside the box than any other Prem keeper.
That's what happens when you have velociraptor arms. I had to laugh at the comedy dive he made after they had a chance near the end which was put wide, about 5 seconds too late jordan!

To be fair, if he cut out the mistakes, he doesn't half make some good saves to keep us in games. Just stay calm Jordan, please.
