The bottom of the table is pretty bad. Even if the abysmal clip of the last six games held the rest of the way, we still finish on 35 points...and that might well be enough for safety.
We'll do better than that. My concern is that this might be a season where 70 falls short of the CL and barely makes Europa. There's a bunch of teams on pace to finish at or near 70 right now, which means that a 50% win rate the rest of the way may not even qualify us for Europa.
Our best hope for getting something from this season is probably stealing one from United and hoping for some luck in the semifinal draw. Beat United, beat Newcastle/Brentford and steal a one-off final - that's all doable. Carlo has a good cup record.

Seen him play like that loads of times, he is never consistently good, not for Everton anyway, a good kick up his backside might straighten him out, feels sorry for himself too often for me, it’s only a game of football, he plays like he’s got the worries of the world on his shoulders, instead of telling himself what a fantastic life he’s got, getting bleedin’ Brewsters for playing a game of football, the most enjoyable game to play in the world. Get on with it for God’s sake.

Sadly an uninspiring and disjointed effort against a woeful Burnley team, with an appalling record this season. The loss of Coleman and Digne has really upset the balance of the side. I don’t know if it’s time to abandon our system and go for a 4-2-3-1 system as defensively this season we are all at sea.

The only thing that stopped going on a full downer after this game was the team my lad plays for winning 6-1.
I did at first because I thought Allan pulled the lad back, then when you see the replay Allan was just too strong for him. The other good thing is the ref was right in front of it and didn't see nothing wrong with it, also I'm sure it was mentioned that VAR had had a look at it as well, so good reffing all around.

Its a shame I had a game today, I havent seen the highlights but from reading this thread I can see we played 3 at the back which didnt work and drew 1-1 against a very average Burnley team.....
