I just don't get why Iwobi who had one of his best games in an Everton shirt the week before was moved position to the other side.

James looks ebulliently happy in some of those training vids released today, richiarlison has a broad smile on too.

If they can both deliver on a freezing Saturday lunchtime in Burnley (see cold tuesday night in Stoke metaphor) then we could perhaps get this season back on track. Come on blues. Give us a happy weekend please.

We have better players and more goals than them. Need to be up for the fight and compete against there lumps up front and grocks in midfield. Beyond that, I’d keep it simple, playing players in their natural position if at all possible.

Do that and we should be fine.

I think that Arsenal one they will rest a few v us as they play against Man City on the Tuesday [before we play man utd the wednesday] so think they may think of that game more than we may do for man utd, and would not surprise me if we beat Arsenal for one

These are the types of games where it is great to have James Rodriguez to create, but it won't matter if we can't stop an average side from scoring twice. Amazing how after years of not having that guy we finally get him and are leaking goals everywhere.

He over thought it because he didn't want to put Neils in

Apart from McNeil this side are slow so we really need to defend high up the pitch and pressure them constantly.

For me would go back to the 4 at the back using most similar starting 11 to the one we saw at the start of seasons, with the exceptions of Coleman and digne missing. Hoping for Neils to start on the left however the RB spot is confusing, as we seem to have plenty of players who will cover there yet none of them are made for that position, id probably go godfrey out there. Feel as if James and Richarlison need a goal to get their momentum back as were starting a very tough December and without them two we don't seem to manage a chance half the time.

However I still expect a win, id say 3-1 with James, Calvert Lewin and Richarlison all to score.
