Luckily Burnley aren’t the most adventurous of teams. For a team with a very good front three we have a very poor back 8.
Not sure on the 7-3 formation to be honest.

Ancelotti was going on about how he likes to play his wing backs further up the field with pace in that segment with Ferdinand, so what does he do when we lose Digne to injury despite having a player with similar attributes? Doesn’t ply him and instead plays a slow massive injury prone central midfielder there instead. It’s like Moyes with Neville this, ridiculous.

As odd as it seems to leave Nkounkou out you have to remember Carlo gets to watch him every day in training and knows the player better than any of us do.

true but we’ve all seen Nku and Gordon put in really good shifts and then not get anywhere near the match day squad.

I can be thrilled that we’ve got a manager with this pedigree and I can trust him and at the same time I can still say WTF???

Not a great line up but if we're honest there's not a lot else to choose from if he doesn't fancy niels and Kenny. Will pop back at 3 to see how we did....

Need James and Richarlison to deliver something here. DCL has done his job all season, we now need the other two to step up and ease the pressure on him. I feel like if Dom doesn’t score, we can’t win. Need goals coming from other sources on, at least, a semi-regular basis. We need to score two goals on a weekly basis to win, any way, cos of our inability to stop conceding goals.

I felt we should have reverted to 4-3-3 because, quite simply, we don’t have players available to adequately play this 3-4-3 system.
