There's absolutely no logical argument why Gordon should be playing. Is he better than Richarlison or James?

Maybe Nkounkou should yes, but we have no idea how he would play and he struggled away at a similar opponent in Newcastle.

Id rather go for Nkounkou over Delph absolutely, but the squad is unacceptably weak. Why do we have zero depth after 5 years of spending obscene amounts of money?

To make it clear mate, he didn’t struggle against Newcastle. Look at the team around him. The lineup was a disgrace that day. You can’t judge a player off 1 game anyway.

Not convinced by the lineup, Burnley are strong defensively and we are playing the same way????

Does it also mean Delph is gonna be RB till Digne is back?

Perhaps Nkonkou Gordon and Olsen just aren’t at the right level for us. He won’t even indulge them with squad spaces. I’ll trust Carlo rather than the football manager geniuses.

I'm not judging him at all but I can see why a manager wouldn't want young players in a struggling team like that. He couldn't get involved in the game but thst was as much due to our inability to pass forward to him.

It’s more saddening that the message that’s been displayed at the club of recent is, it doesn’t matter how good you’ve played in the past, if we get injuries you’re still not getting in, but the bum players who have consistently let us down over the years can just waltz into the side as they please. It’s not good to see. Ancelotti needs to remember that these so called ‘experienced’ heads were the reason we were so crap last season and gave minimal effort.

Paint it as a mural on GP.

I just can't stand Delph. He's so negative as a player and as a wingback it's one of the most progressive positions.

Cant wait for him to receive the ball in the first minute, take 6 touches, turn and pass it back to Pickford. Then repeat until he is inevitably hooked.

Don’t mind the side if it’s 4 at the back, iwobi out wide and James at the point of the midfield/no 10. If it’s wingbacks I’ll go mad - delph not suited to it and our defenders are struggling with playing 3 centre halves as the Fulham and Leeds game has shown
