Perhaps Nkonkou Gordon and Olsen just aren’t at the right level for us. He won’t even indulge them with squad spaces. I’ll trust Carlo rather than the football manager geniuses.

Possibly, but it could be argued Delph isn’t at the right level for us. He’s done nothing in his Everton career to suggest he’s at the right level and shoe horning him to left back which isn’t even his natural position and doesn’t suit the way we play at all is a bit ridiculous. I trust the manager but I can’t help but feel he just prefers the ‘so called’ experienced heads and that’s all this is to do with.
