The club kept him quiet lol

You believe that we have ring fenced 20 million then say we are scrambling to afford 3 million for byram? lol I wish i had your optimism!

Not unusual for teams to allocate funds...

We tried for him in the summer - dynamo kiev said so themselves but they wouldn't sell.

So, we must have some money.

I'd like to think so but it has happened far too many times that we all know of that it feels like putting blind faith into it again is just a waste of effort. If the money appears then great but i just don't think it will, it never has done before.

Leeds United’s Sam Byram agrees terms with Everton

Everton-bound Sam Byram

SAM BYRAM’S move from Leeds United to Premier League Everton is expected to be confirmed today.

The player held talks at Goodison on Sunday after Leeds agreed a £3.7m fee for a player who is out of contract in the summer.

Leeds head coach Steve Evans said Byram asked to be left out of the side that lost 2-0 at Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday ahead of his impending departure.

The 22-year-old underwent a medical and agreed personal terms with the Premier League side on Sunday.

Byram, who has made 143 appearances for Leeds since making his debut in 2012 and is the only current squad member to top three-figures, had also attracted interest from West Ham but the Toffees were the ones who met Leeds owner Massimo Cellino’s valuation.

With Saturday’s derby defeat virtually ending Leeds hopes of making the play-offs, Evans will be hoping to hold on to rising stars Charlie Taylor, Lewis Cook and Alex Mowatt.

Very good.

Maybe depends on Oviedo's fitness. I think he's been not bad at all at right back. But if he's knackered (again), then i'd have no problem with Byram going in.
Very good to know. I think the upcoming games are gaining so much importance. Some 3 pointers are becoming essential. I like our squad but the back four needs to consolidate and work together.

Not sure that its quite done but he passed his medical but think he is still thinking it over and his reps have had initial talks with other parties but we remain first choice
