Love cabbage:

Red cabbage, braised slowly for hours with red wine vinegar, a little brown sugar and dried apricots, plenty of black pepper
Savoy - braised with butter and black pepper, served with any roast
Chinese cabbage, bok choi, choy sum - stir fried with garlic, ginger and oyster sauce

Delicious!

Tommye - what can you not like about mushrooms?

So many different flavours, by themselves or accompanying other food - steak, English breakfast, risotto, on toast etc etc
