Hey everybody,

I'm currently a trainee sports reporter doing a course in Manchester. As part of the course we have all been given a 'patch' - a local club to cover - for an online newspaper Mancunian Matters (the 2nd biggest in the are after MEN).

Myself and another trainee have been given United as our patch, and along with turning round interviews and press releases, we do previews for every game and weekly features.

One of these features is a 'view from the terraces' type piece - and one of the best place for this is forums - I have signed up for RedCafe (never thought i'd say that!) but I think GOT's as good a place as any to start as I know there's a few reds on here who are pretty sound - especially with the next game being against our lads in blue.

We've also got hold of a few contacts for the chairman and vice chairman of the MUST, but we'd also like to include views from other fans rather than just one or two.

I don't think Man United fans as a rule are really that fussed about Everton, as far as they're concerned we're too insignificant for them to care about and the only thing we have in common with them is hating Liverpool.

Agree with other posters on here. Honestly like the way GOT welcomes other supporters (as long as they are not on to troll or just wums). Never saw him get stick apart from your standard banter. Hate to think that these threads give off a hostile vibe to rational non-Evertonians who just want to discuss the game or the sport. Oh well. ABU.
