It's a good one this ladlol

Seriously though I was born and brought up near cherry lane, a 10 minute walk from the ground.
Lad was not used by many of my local mates around there, however mates of my dads from closer to the City centre, say Scottie road, Dingle etc. seemed to use lad over mate a lot more. So it seemed to me it was an inner city thing at the time, could be wrong.

One thing I do know is that Lad has been used by supporters at the game for as long as I've been going or playing, "Get in lad", "lay it off lad"

Even playing football myself the speccies and Team members on the touch line would use lad all the time to address, or slag the players.lol

You’re from the best lane in Liverpool. Taxi club and an ace wee cafe.

Obvs if they’re a male.

Whats everyone’s thoughts on this trend, culture, whatever you wish to call it, mates?

Already more popular than your thread in January on a similar topic.

Nice to see more options in the poll, disappointed there’s no cheese on toast option tho.

I miss Snidertit. Can we have him back?

Someone should reach out to him but I believe he’s banned so that may be difficult. A most incredible injustice I’m sure you’ll agree @GrandOldTeam.

As consistent with anything I take an interest in, I’ve much over egged the cheese on toast thing.

Worry not it *will* be back.
