Can we end our away derby drought?

This is a big big chance for us, but with Newcastle, West Ham and some of the other losses or draws, we are still in the habit of playing other teams back into form. All we need is 5-6 points out of 9 from our 3 games in hand, and if one of them is against the reds, amazing..we're on course.

I’d still take a draw to be honest. As much as I thought klopp looked shellsocked today they are still a few years of solid recruitment ahead of us and while we can beat them in a one off, I think we need more time to really compete with them and the top teams.

You’d expect their front line to be hitting their peak now at 28 roughly (I think) but they seem to be falling off this year but how much of that is down to the crazy situation of the season and how much is down to the fact they’ve been going full on for 2 years remains to be seen.

Either way, I want us to really put them under pressure in the derby to see if they fold. I want whoever our striker is to be closing down Alison and really getting physical with their defenders early

It's a mental thing ,but eh were digging in now like we did with spurs we never gave up kept going pushing pushing. COYB .we now can beat anyone on our day. Newcastle game mentality gives me a little doubt tho .

Form means nothing going into this. We could be title winning form and they could be in relegation form but they'll still turn us over. Any other game I think we can win, these away I've completely lost hope.

I've read enough history to know that the past doesn't actually predict the future, and I haven't been following Everton for as long as most here so I remain hopeful about singing the blues at Anfield.

Mr Ancelotti seems to have been having a positive effect on the players' confidence and spirit. It could be as simple as that.

With Liverpool falling apart at Leicester and having lost 3 on the bounce at home, is this the year we end our run of failing to win at Anfield? Our will we not be able to match what Burnley and Brighton have done in recent weeks and lose to end Liverpools bad run of form?
We had a slight chance until you posted this 'Kin Jinx everything thread

The derby doesn’t matter until the final whistle against City. We have two games before that.

that is how I hope our team views it anyway. 6 massive. points for grabs first

I met my Mrs for the first time the night after Kevin Campbell's goal. 4 different jobs, lived in 3 different countries, have had 3 kids. And 21 years later still waiting for a victory at the Pit, i wouldn't but a quid on it seen to much weird crap happen at that place.

Anyways 2 important games before then

So... it's your fault then?

If the players need any more inspiration than the memory of the defeat by the kids then they should be shot. This should be a sign showing we are on the up and where better to put a marker down for the top 4 .COYB

Well that’s a stupid comment, I support the team and always have, I don’t always expect the team to win but I hope we can win every game and love it when the players prove me wrong and win!
See thats more like it at the end of your post. Just drop the negativity guys, it rubs off on others.

But as i said its all down to the players now to change peoples expectations.

Genuinley looking forward to it.
