Can we end our away derby drought?

Actually dreading this one, to be honest. If we do somehow manage to screw it up and they win, we're going to have to put up with a load of "that was for VVD... " crap from their lunatic fans for God knows how long.

To be honest, I feel less confident about the Fulham game than I do about the Derby.
Oh my god...

In a way I would like a draw. I remember the Ashes of 2005 and Australia celebrated a draw. If we draw with them next week they will celebrate. It will show the psychological shift.

Lost my belief for this one many years ago. No matter what form we are in and no matter how they are performing, we'll find a way to balls it up the Everton way. And no doubt they will be up for it, as always.

They'll be fired up for this one especially I'm afraid, as all the anger over their slide and loss of form will be directed at us. We're the main (make that the only) culprits in their eyes for their current state with Pickford singlehandedly destroying their ambitions for the season at Goodison.

Sincerely hope to be provem wrong, but not confident at all for this one.

Hope we do the right thing as a club though, and lie down a floral wreath in the centre circle as a remembrance to Big Virge's knee. Would be the right thing to do.

The trauma amongst the fans is real. Reading through this thread- the amount of people saying we won't win is understandable. But this Everton isn't a Walter Smith, David Moyes, Roberto Martinez, Roland Koeman, Sam Allardyce or Marco Silva side (apologies to anyone left off this list). This a Carlo Ancelotti Everton with Ben Godfrey in it.

The psychological healing amongst all Evertonians at the final whistle after bossing it and winning at ease will be beautiful.

This is the way.

I would like a win myself. A draw would be underwhelming.

It would be but I'm thinking I know this team too well. I think a draw can be achieved and it will put them under all sorts of pressure. If we win today the minimum we will be is level with them with a game in hand.

Yes, this is important. They've kept quiet about this injury, as has the media, so it's only right we try to bring attention to it. Knowing Liverpool though, they will want to start the game without any fuss. It's never about them and we must all learn that.

They beat us with their under 12s last season. I’m holding no hope that their deal with the devil will end anytime soon.

I'm up for us putting up a good display next weekend. If I'm honest, even that will be a massive improvement over the past ten years and I'll be happy at that.
I just hope that the schedule of three games a week over the recent past won't kick us in the arse.
