Can we stop the Mourinho talk?

I can't find the posts now, but The Esk has said on numerous occasions that we're still in talks with Mourinho. And that he contacted us first not the other way around.

:D

If so that is huge news! Probably should keep up more, apologies...

According to many ITKs in here and a few other Everton Sites. To my knowledge only Sky Sports said anything opposing that?

Bill is as good as done mate. Has no say in the next Manager.

You're right about the Sky Sports thing mate, and to be honest, I'll never trust 'Sky Sources' which are linked to Sky's betting site. C;early no ulterior motive there then....

I seem to like Bill more than most on here, think he can get an unfair deal sometimes, but then again I know little of the financial side. I guess I am just frustrated by the lack of ambition this club has grown to accept, I am desperate for us to start acting like the big club we are.

It is amazing to see how far Everton have progressed (in terms of even being considered for a manager of Jose's caliber) in such a short space of time... however The Esk has always cautioned his comments by saying we're not Mourinho's first choice. It's pretty obvious that's United - but we're still in the running. :-)

I've always liked Bill as a person and Evertonian. I haven't agreed with a lot of his decisions, which there is no need to go into. I think it is best for him and all that he steps away and focusses on his health and stays a fan only.

He is as good as done mate. May even be this Summer at the earliest, I would presume by next Summer the latest if we get going with the new stadium.

All major decisions are Mr Moshiri's.
