Can We Succeed Next Season Without Breaking FFP?

Suggest you read Carlo's book. He says himself that he has always been attracted by longer-term projects. The very nature of the football industry is that what he is offered is often sold to him as a longer-term project, but the impatience of either the fanbase or the owner (and often both) tends to derail things.

That's good! i didn't know that, this is his first chance since AC Milan to do that...all his previous 'projects' were hire, win and fire kind of deals. AC Milan were good to begin with, of course.

I love to hear that but his last five managerial jobs haven't lasted more than three seasons.

Didn't know were to say this but whatever manager takes over ,city linked with 100m for grealish, 100m kane, really ,can we spend what we want they seem to .

I wrote an article the other day about this.

Said Pep was playing Fantasy Premier League.

We are a middle of the table team at the moment, don't see that changing anytime soon.

What FFP, Uefa got rid of it and are now in the process of doing another version post super league shenanigans to appease ten of those clubs that are not Petro dollar state owned clubs.

UEFA will copy the Super League mooted FFP which are more stringent and hard hitting, not where City and PSG could pay backhanders to Infantino in 2015 or City can purposely use delaying tactics and not cooperate so when it goes to CAS nothing can happen as the five year stipulation for FFP violations has passed and get off with a technicality and 9 million fine.

Why are City going to destroy the English transfer record twice this summer even during a pandemic where they are coming off a massive loss, their Sheik is spending for all to see this time instead of funneling funds through in dodgy commercial deals.

If Uzzy wants to elevate Everton to another level, no excuses this time, he has to show much he is into our club because UEFA are turning a blind eye these next two windows.

The ball is in your court Uzbek Thanos overseer overlord.

Sadly we have already broken FFP. We have blown £240m.

We have to fill a 135m deficit, somehow.
Yes and surely if we were to attempt to bring it in line we have to sell our most valuable players before we even think about making a signing!
If that is the case then remaining mid table would arguably be success for now.
Having said that I hope we rip up the FFP and go and get what we need!!

The premier league has FFP rules. We can’t record losses of more than £105m over a rolling three year period.
our losses are £240m over the last two years.
The sanctions can be financial. We would have to vomit to reducing our losses by £22m per year, and failing that there could be transfer bans or points deductions.

It has not gone away.
