Y'know i'll add in the weird breed of pretend big cars that folk seem to love.Big Land / Range Rover drivers on the school run.
My mrs had a juke …. Must admit it was a fantastic car, she swapped it for a Fiat 500 which again, I love driving about in. She wants to change that after Xmas and get a Jeep Renegade…. And that’s where I draw the line.Y'know i'll add in the weird breed of pretend big cars that folk seem to love.
For example, I have an irrational dislike of Nissan's range of 'SUV' vehicles in particular .
Juke drivers really get on my tits. They're driving a needlessly jacked up car which is tiny inside. It's on the same platform as the Micra. Usually loads of em badly parked near schools and in supermarket car parks.
I mean, there's loads of cars that meet that description, but Jukes and Qashqai really irritate. Irrational.
Grrr.
I had a juke as a hire carbon holiday on Spain. It wasn't bad actually. I felt dirty mind, proper self-loathing and twitching at myself. Typical car hire, always pot luck what you get.My mrs had a juke …. Must admit it was a fantastic car, she swapped it for a Fiat 500 which again, I love driving about in. Koff. I'm sleek and beautiful. Sniff it.Cars now are just outsized boats with a BMW, Merc, Porshe, Nissan etc badge on. You can't tell them apart.
Gone are the sleek lines and distinctive features that made cars things of beauty. You could say the same about the drivers too.
This really ^. When I was growing up through the 80’s and 90’s we had the explosion of hot hatches such as the Golf gti, Renault 5 GT turbo, Peugeot 205 gti, fiesta XR2….. then there were the XR3 and the cosworths, the Astra GTE, cavalier sri…. Just way too many to mention…. Now they are all basically the same car with different badges on.Cars now are just outsized boats with a BMW, Merc, Porshe, Nissan etc badge on. Rumour had it that there was an XR4 but I've never had it confirmed. I asked the dealer and they had me shown the door. This really ^.
