CARABAO CUP DATES

Mostly likely correct.

But enough to give Man Utd whatever they want? Is there actually an appetite? Is the overseas marker really what the EFL need to target with the League Cup? Because for me, it's not important to local fans, until it gets close to the end, so the rights can't be going for much abroad.

League wise, absolutely, but 3rd tier competition? Can't see it.
Giving Man Utd everything they want isn't to give them an easier draw once every six years.

Don't think too many care much about the early rounds of the EFL cup, but would still expect the when EFL sell their international tv rights for £150 million a year, the value is driven mostly by interest for the EFL cup.

The reality is grim. But it is important to pick your fights if you want an even playing field. If the EFL cup was important, teams would have played their best players.

Funny thing is that the 6 nearly change their full XI regardless.
But if they're facing a weaker team, the fielding of a weaker team possess less risk. This is what the BBC said about it:

The seven English clubs involved in European competitions this season, including holders Liverpool, enter at the third-round stage.

Ties will take place on weeks commencing 16 and 23 September.

Because there are rounds of Champions League and Europa League fixtures also scheduled for those two midweeks, the six clubs involved in those competitions - Manchester City, Arsenal, Liverpool, Aston Villa, Tottenham and Manchester United - will be kept apart to ensure they can fulfil their Carabao Cup tie in the alternate midweek to their European fixture.

Those six clubs took part in a pre-draw before Forest v Newcastle to decide if they will be at home or away in the third round, with a main draw determining the 16 ties.

Should Chelsea progress to the next phase of the Conference League, they will not be in action in that competition again until the start of October.

So you're overlooking

The removal of Extra Time, at the European clubs request

The fact that clubs do not need to enter in 2nd round - despise only 1 side participating in a Qualifying Round

And now the obvious In seeding, which you've covered.

They've now given them everything they could want. The frustration is that they've got a 100% chance of avoiding one of the bigger sides, maximising their chances of progressing.

I'd love to see what the breakdown of finances are on the deal, because I've not actually seen anything which suggests the majority of the money which is generated in the EFL deal comes from the League Cup.

The Championship is arguably the most exciting and pulsating leagues in the world. (You may be correct, but I've seen nothing to suggest the money is that heavily leant).
