Carlo Ancelotti Appointed Everton Manager

Nah they just looked absolutely knackered we've had a massive run of games in a short space of time with the same players as the squad is very short due to injuries and holes in key positions . We were utterly poor but it was probably a combination of mental and physical fatigue and nerves as we were favourites to win today.
If we flagged in that game and became ragged, maybe. However, they looked clueless and lacking motivation from the off.

IMO we saw today a down tools display from these players who probably wanted Ferguson to be retained.

Carlo's going to need a blow torch to get these parasites out and then £400M to get his quality players in.

That takes time; one thing he can do now though is to bin the coaching staff.

Ferguson, Ebbrell, Jeffers, Unsworth. Get them out of Everton. <------- The first step in the right direction.
Agreed also Brands wants binning as Ancelotti must be allowed to bring in his own targets not the deadline panic we’ve seen from Brands.

He must be bricking it after watching that crap today. We have 5 more points from the last 3 games than I thought we’d get but we’re still deep in it. Not only does he need a new front row, he needs a proper midfield and needs to offload at least 5 of the starters today

TBF, he looked shell shocked at HT.

Don Carlo can bring in the best coaches, analysts, nutritionists, sports scientists who have worked with him at the biggest clubs in Europe.

Time for a change of culture, not just a manager. He has the clout to demand this unlike his predecessors

Not sure, they tried hard enough but yeah lacked any quality, intensity and inspiration that can come from the sidelines or on the pitch we lacked creativity. It did look like mental fatigue. It was a very Silva-esque performance to me not so much that they had downed tools but that they looked lacking confidence, tired and nervous. Anywayy, maybe it was having given so much in so many games it stank of tiredness and mental fatigue/weakness here's hoping to better with Carlo having a weeks training with them.

That's just complete nonsense you are writing there. He knows the situation. He will know what we need.

Great photo from today

The players know the game is up for them. They wanted a continuation of the holiday camp they’ve enjoyed the last few years. They’ll be in a mood now because the manager will now be untouchable and they won’t be able to pull the wool over his eyes.

Genuinely mate, I'd be absolutely shocked if any player is in a mood because they will be unable to pull the wool over the managers eyes.

imo they will be absolutely buzzing to be under the stewardship of one of the finest managers of the last 20 years.

Think about it, Monday morning getting to work under one of the most successful managers of the players generation.

The goalposts have now changed for Everton Football Club. Anyone who isn't good enough will be punted and anyone who wants to be managed by the very best will be bursting lungs to make an impression.
