Iwobi going off after ten mins. The players know the game is up for them. They wanted a continuation of the holiday camp they’ve enjoyed the last few years. They’ll be in a mood now because the manager will now be untouchable and they won’t be able to pull the wool over his eyes.
ErmIwobi going off after ten mins.
Says it all about him. Most players would of carried on with a broken leg today I front of ancelotti, showing him what your all about.
Iwobi needs shifting whilst he still has some value. Let's hope Bournemouth want him for 25m
First thing that needs doing is a new fitness coach. We have never been the same since SteveTashjian left.Bring him back.
Good watch this MG x Oh and Merry Christmas.xPlayers are either playing with injuries or just coming back from injury, its hard for them.
Well put it this way, if it was Howe people would be saying it stinks of Bill, just like they always try to when things are going bad, cant have it both ways.Bill did this ?

I think he needs to do some house cleaning first as a matter of urgency. We need a clean break from what's gone before.
IMO we need shut of any remnant of the past failure and medicrity that has stunk this club out for years.
Ferguson + Jeffers + Unsworth + Ebbrell should be sent packing.
If we dont make a decisive decision like that we may as well not have Ancelotti.
Give him £400M to replace the Koeman and Brands garbage signings and freedom to bin the coaching staff.
Only THEN we can expect results.
IMO we saw today a down tools display from these players who probably wanted Ferguson to be retained.
Carlo's going to need a blow torch to get these parasites out and then £400M to get his quality players in.
That takes time; one thing he can do now though is to bin the coaching staff.
Ferguson, Ebbrell, Jeffers, Unsworth. Get them out of Everton. <------- The first step in the right direction.

I think Don carlo is actually looking forward to his biggest challenge to date. The players appear to be lacking composure in the final third. Or the ability to have that split second on the ball when crucial decision making occurs.
I'm not particularly highlighting Richarlison, it could be any of them, however banging across or towards the goal is a percentage game. That isn't paying off for us. I think Richalison and the rest are better than that.
I would expect Ancelotti can see there is talent in the squad, his job is to turn promise into fulfillment. After all he's built his career out of it. There' no doubt he can achieve that, with what he has to work with at our club. The question is, can he turn these players, into players who can compete and triumph in high pressure situations. Whether it be in cup games or vital league games.
Clough in his prime was famous for turning journeymen players into more than the sum of it's parts. But you need mental toughness. There's a desire in our team, I think we see that, as they would run through a brick wall for Ferguson. Silva not so much. That kind of perspiration over inspiration only gets you so far. Mentally though, they are weak.
That's a recruitment and a management issue. If Ancelotti can bring a steel spine into the team, I think we'd see players at the club with undoubted potential flourish. But he must be given the funds to accomplish that.
Our neighbors have just been crowned world champions, while we've been at a low ebb. But I see a poetry here. I see a future of the blue tide rolling in. With Ancelotti at the helm, if any man can accomplish that, it will be him.
