I don't believe for a minute even with ancelotti we will get near the top 4 this season.

But with the tightness and the teams above us over 38 games, we could well grasp that Europa League spot if it all comes together and make an ancelotti Everton a whole different prospect come the summer

They wanted the galoot to stay on because they knew it wouldn't get too technical. The truth is that these players are mentally weak as well as medicore talent-wise. The scouting on them was poor and we ended up with players cast off from other clubs - no doubt due in large part to the fact they dont take instruction well.

In short: this club has seen Koeman and Brands waste over £400M on players that Ancelotti now has to get shut of and bring his own intelligent players in to replace.

Brands has bought well mate, it was Martinez, Koeman, Walsh, Fat boy who bought bad and over paid

Not all of them, enough of them to describe the previous 3 years of purchases as an expensive waste of time. Look where we are in the table!

I'm not big on sentimentality. I want winners and I really don't care were they come from. If Ancelotti keeps on Ebbrell, Jeffers, that's red flags for me. Just like when Moshiri kept on Kenwright. But tis the season of goodwill and Ancelotti is our manager...But he has to stuff it to them. Neither Kenwright or Moshiri know the first thing about football.

If this guy can't sort out the mess no-one will. But yeah, the pitiful signings, who masquerade as important players, it comes down to Brands. Just like Walsh before him. They're both woeful. They'll be a gradual clear out under Ancelotti.

Why Ancelotti would keep Ferguson? It's sentimentally and nothing else.

Personally , I don't rate Iwobi , but he has hardly had time to settle in yet. Willing to give him a chance.
Same applies to Kean re giving him time , but I can see a prospect there..
Delph was a calculated risk given his injury history , but was extremely cheap.

We’d need be in Title winning form to get top 4 now! If we can nab a couple of good signings in January and sneak a Europa League spot that would represent an outstanding job by Ancelotti. As it stands, if we finish top 10 then I won’t complain. It very much felt like another season wasted under Silva, but in a way it’s going back to go forwards if Carlo is given the backing to progress the team.

Mina has been great the last few weeks
Kean was totally mismanaged by Silva as was Lookman, watch Kean now.
Delph brings leadership more then playing
Iwobi been decent.
