That's the level of manager we are talking about here, a proven winner and its these type of managers who get the best out of players, that extra % needed to be a successful side.

On this particular subject, it's bizarre. he's literally the most successful guy ever too be linked with us. If it's going to go wrong at least we are doing it withthe best tools we can get.

I see that with City sacking Guardiola at Christmas 2019 in my FM save, getting Ancelotti and winning 2 leagues on the run and the European Cup starting 2020/21.

And people are moaning about Ancelotti. This would be huge, massive and probably the best managerial name we will ever see as supporters. He may work he may not but let’s not bloody moan for the club for getting the best manager available.
I’m 42 years of age, I rarely miss a match home or away and last night just for once I was refreshing this forum, sky, everything trying to explain to the missus how big and how excited I was. Whether your 70 or 7 this is a game changer not just for us but for the whole football world. Everton are back on the map.
Let’s just get him in and get him to Goodison on Saturday. Just for once Everton and all our wonderful supporters, be happy and don’t let us down.

Can't quite believe it but the deal to bring Carlo to Goodison looks like it's done.

My conclusions from the appointment of a World class manager so quickly after his last job.

1. Carlo has been told that he has a huge transfer pot to spend.

2. He has a substantial if not absolute say in which players join and Brands will simply do his bidding.

3. Carlo is being paid an astronomical salary.

4. Mr Usmanov has decided that it's time to stop messing about.

I will be very interested to see if he brings Paul Clement with him. I know the club are retaining DF it will be instructive to see exactly what his role and influence will be.

I don't think Ancelotti is a long-term plan, but might be a good 18 month option to get us back into good habits.

I want what Moyes rebuilt and that Big Dunc has inspired. That's Everton for me, and the challenge that needs to be in every player, fan and manager's mind when they see Goodison on the fixture list. A tear up, that they'll do well not to lose.

I don't think Ancelotti can do that, but teaching us how to defend and move the ball again would be good start, and he'll probably get something out of Kean more than we've seen to date,

Dunc could learn a lot from him also.

Let’s be honest as well, he’s not exactly going to come here if he thinks it’ll tarnish his incredible reputation (regardless of how much money might be on the table)

The people on here saying he’s only won something by walking into a ready made team of stars need to stop parroting what a couple of papers are trying to suggest. If it were that simple far more managers would have his haul of trophies.

If Ancelotti doesn’t work we know there’s something fundamentally wrong at the club. If a half decent manager like Rodgers can get Leicester going but a world class manager like Ancelotti almost relegates is like Koeman Silva and Martinez did then the whole ‘it was just a poor manager’ argument goes out the window.
