What kind of formation/tactics could we expect to see under Carlo?
For anyone that way inclined I'd be interested to see an XI for the weak state we're in now and one for our strongest potential XI once everyone is fit and he's had Jan transfer window.

We can confirm that thus far no contract offer has been made and no candidate has chosen to withdraw from the process.

I am not sure of his strongest 11 from his current squad but after January I would imagine our line up would look something like
Neuer
Semedo Koubailly Ramos Digne
Messi Busquets Pogba Ricarlison
Zlatan Werner

Ancelotti is still under contract with Napoli , Everton cannot offer a new contract to him until his current contract is terminated. I would guess the statement last night was to make sure there would be no repeat of the Watford scenario where we had to compensate for the loss of a manager they had already sacked.

At this stage the level of media attention that has been generated would mean the club would have had to issue an outright denial if there was no truth in the Ancelotti story.
