People are entitled to have questions about a 60 year old who’s best days are behind him, it doesn’t make them Liverpool supporters. This kind of post harms an otherwise very interesting and well moderated forum.

However I do agree that recruiting such a talented and successful manager as CA is only going to be good for the club, there are basically zero negatives.

I don't think anyone can say his best days are behind him at this point. If he became our manager and led us to some trophies then he would disprove that assertion.

If people are looking for negatives in Everton appointing Carlo Ancelotti, then those people will never, ever be optimistic about Everton.

Well going with managers who trained Bolton, Blackburn, Sunderland etc didn't really work out for it did us? I'm therefore more than happy to try out the man who managed Juventus, Milan, Chelsea, RM, PSG etc.

Didn't say I wanted to hire these managers, but it's a very misleading comparison. My own personal favorite is Ralf Rangnick. He is innovative and has inspired a number of coaches. In addition, he has experience in building a club. Win percentage 47.8. Erik Ten Haag is another favorite. With the salary that we offer CS, it should also be possible to tempt Ten Haag to come here (after the end of the season). Unless Bayern or Barcelona go for him.
