As in jemaine beckford? What's he said?

I noticed with City some ex players want the club to do well, while some resent the new success because it makes their own achievements pale in comparison. I think the ex Everton players that want Moyes are doing the same, it comes across like they want to say I was Everton when they finished 8th, which was a great achievement.

Kris Boyd on Sky Sports - It's one last payday for Ancelotti where can Everton go?

Up Kris, we can go up you absolute buffoon.

What is with these absolute alehouse players on Sky looking down on Everton, first Beckford now him.

the funny thing is since it was known he is coming the media haven't shut up about us. yeah they all being negative but it shows they are concerned we are about to change as a team and threaten to hit the top 4 over next year or two and they know it

Possibly the most successful incoming manager in premier league history.

It’s debatable between him and Pep, Pep had more domestic titles, but all with Bayern and Barca on the spin. Carlo has one more European cup, and has actually won the premier league.

That's a bit of a stretch tbh. Surely Sir Alex is the most successful PL manager and by a distance.

Carlo the most distinguished manager weve had possibly ever though. In terms of trophies he definitely is anyway.

Personally feeling like this could be a paradigm shifting appointment never is our history have appointed a manager of CA ability. He brings instant respect to his name as a manager and the fan base will adore him if he elevates us back to were we properly belong in the top few clubs in the country.

hes Got the clout knows how to handle egos and is tactically flexible. With the right backing I’m very optimistic

Some former Everton players like Stubbs and Osman make me absolutely sick to my stomach. You’d have thought being at the club for so long and being ‘alleged’ Evertonians they would know this club is a sleeping giant and deserves the very best and should certainly aim for the very best, more so now we have the finances to do so. To hear these two meffs pandering about a David Moyes return the last few weeks makes my blood boil, epitomises why they were loved so much and played week in week out by the dour ginger one. Neither of these two are club legends or hero’s and should keep their sentimental opinions to themselves in the media as they don’t reflect the majority of our fan base and makes the club look small time.

Feels similar to when Liverpool managed to appoint Klopp. Im not saying Ancelloti will be able to achieve the things Klopp has at Liverpool here, but they too had a string of shabite Managers after Benitez, albeit Rodgers got 2nd once. They too signed some shabite in the Transfer Market & i dont think anyone thought or expected them to be able to get Klopp, but they did.

Again, not saying Ancelloti is gonna get us challenging for the League or winning Champions Leagues, but coupled with Moshiris willingness to invest, it could lift the club in a similar manner to what Klopp did to them
