Not to the extent Usmanov is.
And he's already blown a significant amount of his fortune on sacking Martinez, employing and sacking Koeman, Walsh, Allardyce, Silva, all their respective back room staff and funding nutty transfer fees and wages on a whole host of poor players signings.
Still a multi-billionaire mate, not a fortune to be sniffed at! Your response backs up the point I was making btw. Usmanov could well be behind the bad decisions, or at least his money, simply being a multi-billionaire doesn't make it impossible that he wouldn't make bad business decisions, or at least that people are making bad decisions on his behalf. I think he's involved and will go public in the next year.

I know it’s not the correct thread but you can’t say he’s been a failure and he’s more used to winning and performing in the big games.

If he is still good enough to help drag us up the table, then why did this winner not win something in a much weaker League? I mean Galaxy do have the most high profile squad. So it should not be a difficult task for such a winner.

A crumb of comfort: what about Moyes to West Ham? He did the trick last time.

I think one of the reasons West Ham didn't offer Moyes the gig permanently when he was there last time Dave was because the fans were kicking off over his style of footy, and they wanted him gone. It was a case of thanks, but no thanks. Like us they would probably shudder at the thought of Moyes.

Each to their own mate.
I agree that having a vast fortune doesn't mean billionaires don't or won't make mistakes.
Personally, I don't think Usmanov is involved in any way durectly with Everton other than agreeing for Moshiri to use USM for an agreed level of sponsorship.

Can´t help but feel he would struggle here. When is the last time he had to deal with a squad so far away from the top like ours would be? He's a not a young, hungry manager. We could be getting the half arsed version of his former self.

Fair nuff, personally think we'll know before or around the time that all the facts such as PP and financing are sorted for the the stadium.

I'd say if Ancelloti comes in it's an indication Usmanov is involved.
