"No evidence" he can build up a team and identity?

Like how he took AC Milan and transformed them - repeatedly - over an eight year reign?

What a bonkers thing to say!!!
That’s what I was thinking. It’s only recently he hasn’t stuck at clubs for a long period. However when you look at every big club in Europe that’s the norm nowadays.

I think one of the reasons West Ham didn't offer Moyes the gig permanently when he was there last time Dave was because the fans were kicking off over his style of footy, and they wanted him gone. It was a case of thanks, but no thanks. Like us they would probably shudder at the thought of Moyes.
Needs must though. I could see Gold and Sullivan not giving a flying one and protecting their assets.

It's just baffling logic.

"Nah, don't bring in one of the most successful managers in world football because he's been sacked by the world's biggest clubs a few times - instead, bring in Eddie Howe because he'll stick around 10 years and do naff all, but at least it's a 'project'."

If there's any chance whatsoever we can bring Ancelotti in, we have to do it. It's a statement signing - exactly the sort of one Moshiri should have made when he first came in but didn't. It's exactly what we need right now.

Moyes, on the other hand, is the precise opposite - confirmation for me the club doesn't give a toss and his appointment would be genuinely the exact moment I walk away from the club altogether. No hyperbole; I'd be done. I'm convinced thousands would feel the same way too.
