Can you find any list anywhere that confirms that? Because I can’t. He’s not even on any of the 2019 top 20 lists that I can find.

there was a story claiming that Shanghai were going to offer him a contract extension at some insane salary (£30m per year or something).. and over the last few days that seems to have morphed into “that’s what he’s being paid”

Happy to be proven wrong if you can find any evidence other than newspaper articles from the last week.

the only stuff I can find from when he was appointed quoted a figure of ~£5m per year, which isn’t even CLOSE to top 3

It seems like the €30m salary is rumoured, but the Times say he is on £19.4m a year and will now get £25m a year to stay. Benitez is on £12m a year.

I just don't think Carlo is right for us currently, nor we for him. Have you seen him deal with a struggling team before? Plus reports suggest he's looking lethargic and he's coming close to the end of his career.

I think Moyes with Dunc as assistant could actually be a good option!

Ppl really under rate our club and squad.. we have easy one of top 7 starting line up in the league when fit.. just need a manager with tactical awareness and to give the players a true winning mentality.

He's coming from Napoli, who are a good team, but hardly continental elite. His days at the very top clubs in Europe are well gone.

He'd get a massive wage here and cash for players.

Don’t you no a top manger like Carlo will choose West ham over Everton too because London. Swear to god West ham. Are they going to throw Palace in that too what about Watford that’s by London. Some things I have read on this thread it’s like some would rather have small time an Moyes.

No way Arsenal would want Ancelotti. He has a great opportunity here though. I expect a serious approach from us.

If he has a choice between Arsenal and Everton he will choose Arsenal every time. We are just not as inviting as Arsenal. Wish we were but we just aren't unfortunately.

There are certain mindsets that go to West Ham over Everton because of their location in London.

Every single time that happens, I see it as a bullet dodged. If Ancelotti went down the Ogbonna route of choosing West Ham over Everton, I'd see it the same - a massive bullet dodged.

But I don't think he's thick.
