Sorry to say it (fingers and toes crossed I'm wrong) but this ain't going to end well. Supposedly bringing in his son Davide alongside Big Dunc. Not wholly sure what his credentials are but the impression is he's a Daddy's boy and I can see him off squeezing to Carlo everytime Big D looks at him wrongly. It smacks of jobs for the lad, keep it in the family...etc. How will Carlo concentrate on building a team if he's too busy wiping his sons arris?
Prove me wrong....please

TBF his son has worked with him since 2012, fitness coach at PSG and Real Madrid, assistant manager at Bayen Munich and Napoli

You think there could be a clash?
Maybe I'm wrong about Carlo, but if Brands wants to build through development of young players I don't see them seeing eye to eye. And again I really don't know what Carlo is thinking but it just seems like someone who has won the PL, CL and coached the clubs he has will want to build quickly and not try to really lay the groundwork in the way we desperately need. And that building from the ground up is what I thought Brands was here to do.

Looking at Ancelotti's CV, he's been at teams that expect to win titles immediately, often with owners with itchy trigger fingers. Maybe, just maybe, he's tired of having to win right away or face the sack and the prospect of building a winner a bit more slowly with an owner and board willing to give him some time appeals to him at this stage of his career. Just sayin'.....

Clearly moshiri making the final decision. Like many have said, Ancelotti is not known for building a team. He is obviously good when managing a team of quality players but even then the momentum of his success rarely surpass a couple of season.

That would be very good for us assuming that he has the skills to do that. He has in the past but it's quite literally been two decades.

Ah yes.. I remember the last time we had a couple of seasons of success.

1984 and 1985...and I for one am fed up waiting..

If our players don’t want to play for him, after the likes of Ronaldo and Zlatan have done, and loved him. Then they don’t deserve to be at the club
How much pull does a manager have though? I've always thought that club status was the biggest thing for potential players and that's an area we are struggling right now. Do you think top players would come here because of him? I mean James can't seem to find a club that will use him. Does Ancelotti being here put us in a place to make that happen? I find that hard to believe myself but obviously if it were to work that way I'd be delighted.
