11 points from five games since the sacking of Silva. Dunc, and now Don Carlo, have got more out of the same squad Silva was failing with.

I've nothing against him and wasn't calling for his removal until the last few weeks of his reign but it's now clear that Marco was certainly the problem.

He was. But to remove him late and thus we got Carlo was a fantastic move.

Did he though because all signs pointed to us wanting Zouma back from Chelsea but the transfer ban ruled that out. Zouma was our top priority apparently. We chased that deal until late in the window before realising we hadn't given ourselves enough time to properly identify a target. We then supposedly got a move for Smalling rejected.

Everything we heard over the summer pointed to us wanting to bring in a new CB.
We tried to buy an Italian defender but Silva veto it

that clown Silva had people believing we had a horrendous squad when it was just that Portuguese fraud being a garbage manager, We was getting slapped about by Norwich and Brighton and now we calmly get wins against Burnley and Newcastle.
Up Carlo's minimal tactical changes and winning blues

In a way feel some sympathy for Silva with VAR and injuries. Moshiri has also stated that he is an exceptional coach and he may be. But therein lies the huge difference and one which will hopefully benefit us going forward:

Silva a good coach (apparently) but Anchelotti a great manager of players and games. The difference between the two styles and what was necessary at EFC is stark.
The difference is he’s a winner, a very experienced one as well. Silva a new coach who is apparently awesome off the pitch just not in game. Silva will learn but Everton was to big for him

He's started both games with different formations. Changed when needed for the better both times and the players seemed to know what to do.

Shows he is a shrewd manager who commands respect. We trust him and we still can't believe he is actually our manager.

I thought Silva was bad by the time we'd sacked him, but it's only just dawned on me how dreadful he must be since the win today. We wouldn't have won today's match under him having conceded that equaliser in a hundred attempts.

I wonder if Carlo will need 20 odd matches of going behind before he can come back to win one? Somehow, I think that's highly unlikely.
