He seems to be the perfect marriage between flexible pragmatism and philosophical implementation of a style

Hopefully the man to keep all sections of the fan base happy
And mature Mikey... Emotionally mature!

I know that's a funny thing to bring up about a man who is 60, but it's a big plus in my books.
He won't let his ego blind his performances, ala Koeman, Mourinho... Etc.
If he gets it wrong, I feel he's the type of man who will take responsibility for his actions, rather than throw everybody else under the bus!
And THEN take corrective action to steady the boat, instead of being delusional while sitting in a burning house, going: Everything's fine.

I'm going to judge him after 9-10 games. We'll see if there's a massive difference then.
Still think the Big Dunc momentum is what's happening at the moment.
I agree but he has made a couple of telling tactical changes and I’m surprised how quick it has been communicated and took on board by the players. He deserves a some credit so far but it’s early days.

Really don’t see the need for this, he wasn’t good enough but was hardly a person that thought himself better than anyone else. Out of the managers we have had he is so inoffensive to warrant any sort of attacks
I have nothing against him but he carried himself like he thought he was a big dog but just had nothing about him at all. I'll be amazed if he does anything of note in future. Though he's earned enough or of Everton to never need to.

Reading his book at the moment. I think he’ll fit in so well here, despite the media horror at him “lowering” himself.

Pretty much everything about the setup at Milan (that he cites as his ideal) is similar to us... right down to a kit man who’s been around forever.

Find it strange that the media/fans say that Mikel is a great choice for arsenal and Carlos is a risk for us. Weird
I've stopped following mainstream media and pundits for these reasons. Some of the crap pretty well paid guys come out with is pure tripe and yet rarely reflects badly on them or the channels they work, for some reason.

Guys on Match of the Day or Sky slamming referees, players, managers or claiming what fans' are thinking etc. Absurd.

How can Arteta, be straight into a prem job having coached nobody, Pathetic.
Ancelloti and Everton are (I'm led to believe by this forum) more less tied on the silverware won. I don't think he's not won anywhere he's been. Arteta was one of a string of relatively high profile signings that were part of Arsenal's long fall from grace. How he can be considered mgt material is an absolute joke and an insult to better managers in the Prem and Champion's league. But there again I'm glad as I despiseArsenal for the way the club has turned it's back on British talent, so am perfectly happy for them to become one of the big 6 that are easier for us to catch.
