Carlo for me is an excellent appointment. Never thought or conveyed otherwise. Or at least I never thought I had!

In Naples they have enormous Nativity scenes that are often populated by sportsmen, politicians and a bloke having a crap. I imagine they were a bit annoyed to find that Ancelotti managed Everton at Christmas after hand painting thousands of him. Really need to box them up and send them down to goodison.

Ladies and gentlemen, Everton Football Club are entering a new decade with a manager who his entire career, player and manager, has been a winner. I’m not talking LDV Vans trophies either, the man is a Born Winner. And he has rocked up at Goodison, where as we all know he will fall in love with us as much as we do with him.

A man with a plan, a man with tactical nous, and a man with serious gravitas.

Couldn’t agree more mate. Usually a managerial appointment is usually given a mixed response. There seems universal approval with Ancelotti’s appointment. You have every confidence in his ability to make the right decisions on and off the pitch.

Reading his book and the media are incredibly wrong about him, he enjoys working at family clubs and he enjoys building his own teams; it's just he doesn't get a chance to at the really big clubs as they want instant ongoing success. I think he'll become a legend here.
