I wasn’t so sure about Ancelotti when linked, the reason I didn’t think he would be up for a building job, but in the early days he’s been here there’s much more about him than I thought, very clever man with tactics and getting the most from the players at his disposal. Some wanted Mourinho but I think we dodged a bullet, I think he’s desire for the game has gone a bit, don’t give him to long at spurs.

Reading his book and the media are incredibly wrong about him, he enjoys working at family clubs and he enjoys building his own teams; it's just he doesn't get a chance to at the really big clubs as they want instant ongoing success. I think he'll become a legend here.
I sincerely hope so. How many times has he had the chance though at a family club? We know he can win at the huge clubs, so what is his record with the lesser clubs were he has built a team in his own image? (I will be reading his book soon)

The best current example was PSG, they weren't the behemoth they are now until he built them. But he had 8 years at milan and they weren't that great when he took over(and yes he says they are a family club, in contrast he called Juve a company). He basically goes into every job hoping it's long term but accepts at the elite clubs it's not always possible. He calls it the leadership arc.

The way he manages and talks about it he is very adaptable, he can man manage anyone not just stars,he just seems to have that personality that makes him very likeable and so he has respect round the board. It's a very interesting book so far.

So it is the attitude of the club and hierarchy rather than the size on a world stage.

Pretty much, it's a culture he likes to promote, a family culture, even among the players, he says cliques are unacceptable and does everything he can to integrate everyone with everyone. Everyone has to learn the language of the host country as well, he says it helps bonding and teammates and fans appreciate the commitment.

He also sound like some of the things he like s to do are very like Howard with the way he treats his players and staff. Taking them out for meals away from the club etc. I reckon we are in for a treat under His guidance.

if he was good enough he wouldnt be kicked out from munich and napoli. got sacked from 2 different clubs in 3 years . we are in honeymoon now lets wait next season and the season after plus its only 2 games in.....
if he was good enough ? What are you going on about . The mans won top honors all his career just enjoy having him and let's see what happens or would you rather have big fat gravey tits back in charge
