He can only work with what he has and let's be honest, it isn't much. Felt like we were playing without a midfield but he didn't have any options. The squad is just so poor in that area.

Can’t comment on the rest mate, only been here 2 weeks. I wouldn’t read too much into his time at Bayern, they still won trophies. Look everywhere else he has been, look at his record, he’s a proven winner and shouldn’t need someone growling from the sidelines to get the players up for a fight, especially in a local derby.

You could be right and he’s here for a payday, but it doesn’t matter what he does here, even if we got relegated. Look at the kip of this squad, all gutless rats, he’d walk into a top job elsewhere in Europe if we got rid. But we are on a hiding to nothing. If we don’t succeed with Ancelotti then I suspect we never will.

After a totally diabolical performance against a second string 11 featuring a 16 year old and the way he a) set the team up and b) could not motivate a response leaves me cold. I've not turned but the familiar signs are there. I think we all know that team would not have lost under Ferguson.
 
Honestly he has a huge huge job to close the gulf between us and the top 4.

Under Fat Sam:

Under Silva:
Delph - £9m

In all we have spent over £170m not including wages and I don't think we'll get £50m back off them.

We need to bite the bullet and burn these out of our club, find the talent and the right character in order to push this team forward.
