It's not game of thrones. Baines as smallfinge or whatever his name was colluding with gylf in the bogs to bring Carlo down after one week.

This place gets madder by the day
Davek point is they down tools to get rid of the manager and a few of these players have seen of 4 managers and now saying it was the tactics fault for us not trying in the 2nd half

I read an interview with Ancelotti saying he likes to develop a system that works with the players he has, and not limit himself to one style. My take on that is that it's not an immediate fix. He has to learn enough about the players to see what they are capable of, and see what he can mould the side in to.

One noticeable difference from the Duncan games,.is playing out from the back. Duncan all but abandoned that from the game and instead missed out the midfield. I suspect cos Duncan knew where the issue was, but it worked and we looked a better side for it. Ancelotti has now seen that issue first hand, and if he wants to play out from the back, then he's either going to have to work with the midfield, or bring in new ones. I'd be disappointed to see a side with morgan and gylfi starting again. Neither should be anywhere near the side.

Preach! This man can see what is going on.

And why are they doing this?
And to Carlo already, one of the best managers in the world....come on man

To elaborate on your opening point a bit, he has the added difficulty here of working out who he can trust first and who isn't good enough to be catered to. It's all good and well working out a system to suit top players, but it sure as hell isn't worth working out a system to cater for the likes of Walcott and Sigurdsson, for example.

He's got a big job on his hands, and he's got the entire length of his contract to work it out as far as I'm concerned.

I cant believe Carlo’s tactics and instructions were “shoot and head easy chances directly at the keeper, that will fool them”

We take those chances in first half...we smash them. 2nd half those players downed tools or lost interest or even just run out of steam, against younger fresher legs.

I keep reading people say this group of players always does this, they've thrown x amount of managers under the bus etc. They're different players though. They're not the players who got Martinez or Koeman or sacked, so that idea can just be binned straight away if you just stop for one second and think.

Seven of the fourteen players we used on Sunday were brought in by Brands. Of the others, the vast majority of them had either only just come in when we sacked Koeman, or were very much junior players with limited influence, they can hardly be accused of downing tools under him.

The players aren't very good. They definitely aren't a cohesive unit. There are also probably one or two with poor attitudes, as there are in most squads. But we really need to move away from the idea that every single player we ever buy is a bad apple and conspires against the manager.

Not one of them opted to go long for some strange reason All trued to play out from the back for 90 minutes, almost as ifthey were told to do so

Lad tactics weren’t to blame for Walcott forgetting how to control a footy, Sigurdsson going missing whenever we needed him to show for the ball and Schneiderlin crawling on the floor as the man he was meant to be marking curled one in the top corner.
