They can try, but we’ve now got a manager with clout, and the majority of the fan base (barring a few weirdos in here) will be behind him. He will know after Sunday who the culprits are.
 
Delighted with the prospect of impending civil war at finch farm wrestling power from mediocre players has been long overdue. Give them no quarter ship at least 80% of the squad out and execute another 10%
 

We will never get a better manager than this fella. The problem is the players (and the tossers that recruited them) most of whom are an absolute disgrace and embarrassment to the club and do not deserve to be employed by them. What we need to do now imo is accept that Ancelotti is going to have to do a full rebuild and just trust in him and let him do it no matter how long it takes. He will already know what needs doing and so forget this season and maybe even next season too. It is going to take ages shipping out some of these parasites out of the club and the club is again going to incur more huge deficits.

If he is allowed to take his time and rebuild the way he wants to, then Everton will return to being winners again at some point in the future and that is good enough for me after what we have endured the last few years.
 
If you think the cup result was a battle lost tactically, as opposed to lost through a total lack of composure, desire, and fitness, I have two exhibits for you:

1.) The game should have been put to bed by half time. With the chances we had, we should have been 2-0 up (at least!!), and that tends not to happen if you get it wrong tactically

2.) Our U23s beat that team 2-0 at Anfield 9 months ago
