Watching the highlights you'd think Brighton deserved at least a point. Back in the day they used to just show the goals with no pundit analysis if you weren't in the top 2/3 games, so better than it used to be I suppose.
Ask this most weeks. Does anyone watch motd any more. I haven't watched for years since the liverpool mafia took over the bbc

Carlo Ancelotti admits it is a "bit dangerous" for Everton to play out from defence at the moment - as he explains why Yerry Mina was on the bench against Brighton.
Ancelotti says his intention is to implement a more possession-based approach in the long run but says, for the time being at least, he is more than happy for the Blues to play in a more direct style.
Ancelotti dropped Seamus Coleman, Mina and Morgan Schneiderlin to the bench for the game with Brighton and says rotation is something he employs during busy periods.
Mina, the Italian insists, did not lose his place in the starting XI because of his performance in the defeat to Liverpool.

Could be true about rotating Mina. Could be protecting the player.

Who knows really

Carlo is pragmatic and that's why hes gonna do well.

Could also be that he knew that game would suit Keane too. If the opposition hasn't got out and out pace then he could arguably be the better defender. He may be happy to rotate on that basis to keep them fresh and up Keane's value by not showing up his deficiencies.
